we are looking at a 1999 Cornpro 7x20 gooseneck stock trailer that is being offered at a farm auction. We have not idea what a trailer like this is worth. Have not seen the trailer. What is a high value (good shape) and the lower end (needs repair)? Thanks - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on Kay's estimate of the current new price, the fact that it is 7 years old and it is at an auction... I'd guess it might fetch 3,000 to 3,500 in a private sale. IF I wanted it badly enough I might go to 2,500, given that I could buy a new Ponderosa trailer for little more than that.
My guess is that auction fever could get it up to 5,000 or 5,500 - which is why I rarely buy anything at auction - stuff goes to the person who thinks it is worth more than anyone else there, which is GREAT for sellers but not for buyers (-:
