I have a 3-year-old 2-horse straight-load gooseneck American Spriit trailer. Recently I noticed the left-side wheels wobbling. I took the trailer to my trailer guy and he said the bearings were "kinked" and fixed them. The wheels still wobble and I noticed that one of the tires on that side is worn very unevenly. What should I do to fix this problem?

Never heard of kinked bearings. Go to another reputable mechanic. Could be loose and or damage lugs, bent rims, bent axle, or bad bearings so you need someone that can diagnose properly by looking at it. Seams odd both on the same side have the problem. Are you sure you or someone hasn't hit something?

"Kinked" bearings and "muffler" bearings are in the same category... bogus. Laurie gave you a list of things a competent mechanic can easily assess. The easiest diagnosis is to jack and spin the wheel. By doing so, a mechanic can tell if it is a bent rim, loose bearing, bent spindle etc.
Take it to someone OTHER than your first mechanic. Preferably a certified mechanic that isn't ripping you off.
