Does anyone have any information concerning the logging at Lonesome D? Trees have been marked by the US Forest Service with spray paint and each section of the forest has a tag with the buyer information. We have heard any tree over 4" in diameter will be cut. If this is true the riding at Lonesome will be gone.

No that isnt true. We go often to Lonesome D and yes they are logging in there but not clear cutting. If you notice when your riding you go along for a while with no areas marked then some will be then more areas not marked. As we understand it the loggers arent allowed in all at one time, they each have a certain time frame in which to go in.
