I have a 2002 Silver Star StarLite Supreme horse trailer.  The thing is a mess, and now I have an ant problem (no LQ currently.)

I've just finished washing the whole thing by hand, and waxing it.  Having a hard time getting swirl marks out, but they'll come out.

What is an acid wash?  Is it something done to the outside of the trailer, too?  My aluminum metal surfaces are dulled, and I'm wondering if this will bring them back to life as well as really getting the top and white sides of the trailer clean.

Is there an easier way to wax this trailer than doing the job by hand?

Thank you,

Mike
