Hi, I am looking at buying an older Trail-Et trailer. I know these are fairly nice trailers that hold value well, but can anyone tell me more about them. This trailer is from 1981 and has a fiberglass roof. It does not have the classic trail-et strips on it. Its a 2 horse with tack under mangers. Anyone know how high and long these trailers were??? Thanks. Any info would be great... good or bad.

A trailer that old will have springs instead of torsion axles. If you are looking at a steel frame covered with aluminum, watch the steel frame, a trailer that old might have structure problems. You could always give Trail-et a call to find out further infromation.

Thanks. I emailed them but was hoping I might get info on here sooner... Guess I'll have to wait and see. It is a steel trailer, with alum rock guards. I was thinking as cheap as I can get it I could afford to put new diamond plating on it and sandblast and repaint the whole trailer. But thanks again.

I also dontk now much about torsion axles or whatever...  what is the difference and preference about them?
