I need to verify the weight of my 1999 Ford Expedition for my North Carolina weighted license plate. I must make sure that my tag is sufficient to cover the combined weight of my truck and loaded trailer.

I have the empty weight of my trailer and I can estimate the highest weight of my horse and people cargo. The missing link is now the empty weight of the vehicle.

Aside from taking it to the scale, can anyone venture a guess as to the approximate weight of a 1999 Ford Expedition - without the 3rd row seat?

Thanks so much for your help.
