Subject: 2016 Trailswest special light 4 horse

I am thinking of up grading my weekender Trailswest 4 horse to a Trailswest special light 12x12 living quarters 4 horse with mangers. The trailer is 5 hours from my house and I am looking at it thru pictures. I have never had a trailer with mangers and in the pictures it looks pretty narrow for a horse. Does any one have any input on these special lights with mangers? Thanks

We just got our new TW 8'/mangers home.  We traded in a 7' TW with mangers.  The old trailer was a bit tight but I have been told that TW put their stalls at a greater angle, at least in the 7' wide models, than some other brands to achieve a longer space for the horses.  Our new trailer is very spacious in the horse area.  We got the side tack, which I'd had on another trailer awhile back, and the broom closet in the back.  That really opens up the back area.  It's almost like having a 7' wide without mangers.

I have a 2012 TW 4 horse with mangers, midtack, 10' living quarters, and 7' wide. I have two big geldings one is an Arabian, the other is a BLM mustang. Two mares too. They all fit nicely with no problems. We haul them to NM from Tx and North Rim Grand Canyon from Tx. They have no problems with the mangers. Love the TW. My last one was a 1999 TW with mangers 4 horse with plenty of room. Width or length both are fine.
