We recently purchased a very old (1987) ponderosa stock trailer. Its still in good condition except for the axles. The previous owner must have repeatedly overloaded it. Both axles are sagging. We measured the axles but our measurements do not match available sizes. Is there a way to find out the manufacturer specs for our trailer?

A few years back I purchased a used 79 stock trailer, prev. used for hauling bulls, axles bent but frame and body ok. Took it to a wheel alignment shop and had them straighten axles, put new tires all around and never had a problem again.. so definitely worth a try. I believe cost was around 150$ ,plus new tires.
