Hello all,
If you are looking for beautiful land/trails at a reasonable price I recommend high knob campground! We just got back and loved it. Can ride to Gardent of the Gods. Five major trails lead out of camp, some easy some quite difficult. All stunning in their own way. Loved it and just wanted to share.

We met some folks while camping a couple of weeks ago and they told us that they really enjoyed High Knob too. FWIW. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing!

I've camped down in Shawnee for years but last fall was the first time staying at High Knob. I would have to agree that it was a great place with so many beautiful trails. Glad you liked it, too.
