We currently have carpet in our living quarters (came from the factory that way).  We want to replace with vinyl or something other than carpet.  Question is would you remove all the cabinets that are on the floor or do you work around all the cabinetry?  We have a 2 boot boxes a tall cabinet that holds clothing and  our power cord retracks into the bottom. These came standard from the factory and the other cabinets are ones we installed.  I believe that when the floor was installed it seem to be plywood with carpet glued to it.  Possible two pieces cause there is a seam over toward the door that leads to the horse area.

Unless the cabinets are real easy to remove, I'd just cut the carpet at the base of the cabinets and leave it in place. Not sure how your trailer is but cabinets I've seen in a lot of LQ are built in place, not like you home where it's a stand along structure that's screwed down.

After you install new floor just use some 1/4 round to trim the edges
