This A & E 8500 awning that I recently got has some sticky substance on it. It is some kind of adhesive, almost like the residue that would be left if you took a sticker off of something. Any suggestions on what to use to remove it? Thanks.

Goo-Gone avaliable at Lowes hardware or Home Depot. It takes off anything sticky or old glue type stuff. It really works. It does not have any harsh chemicals that would break down the vinyl.
