Hello, I have a 1990 Featherlite 3 horse slant load stock trailer. In overall good shape.

The large rear door that opens up the entire back has a large rod with bearings at both ends and a clasp system to close it to the frame work. The bearing at the top has worn out and has become noisey down the road. It looks like the entire unit has to be replaced, but I just need the top part.

Wher can I get this or any repair ideas?

Terry

I would say your best bet would be the Parts Department at Featherlite. You can call 800-800-1230 and dial 4 for parts. You can also email at partsales@fthr.com

I'm making the assumption your talking about the latch.A semi trailer repair firm should have the needed part. It's not really a bearing, more like a plastic insert.
