We are thinking of going to Deep Creek Boarding Staples to camp. How do you like this place, how are the trails and has anyone ever rented one of the campers that are available.

This is a place we might consider going to. A friend who has been there said that the trails are gorgeous and he sent some really pretty photos. He said the stalls aren't great but that the campground was ok. I think he wrote adequate when he reviewed it on Horse trail Guide. I was hoping someone else that has been there would comment.

LOVE  IT!!!  This is our favorite place to go in the Smoky Mts.  Mr. James is awesome.  The camp is small with a few sites right beside the creek.   The barn is not fancy, but very adequate with water ran to each stall.    We usually bring our own shavings because if it has been raining a lot then sometimes his are wet.  The trailers for rent are old, but are extrememly clean inside.  We peeked in one of them on our October trip and it was very clean.  Mr. James is one of the most knowledgeable people about this area.  He can tell you about the terrain and help you pick the right trail for you.  We love to ride the Deep Creek trails with the waterfalls.  Noland Creek trail is also really pretty and not as hard as some of the ridge trails in that area.  We try to go stay about twice a year and have a great time on every trip.  If you go in the summer you can ride in the morning and tube from the national forest back to camp in about an hour.
