I received this e-mail from the KY Horse Council regarding the Land Between the Lakes horse trails. I have never rode in this part of KY, if you know anyone who rides there, please pass this along. There must be something going on over there with the trails.....

The Wrangler Camp at LBL is closed due to damage by the ice storm.  We have been told they are trying to get the camp open by April 1. Updates concerning what is open and what is closed can be found at www.lbl.org

I was in that area this weekend.  Quite frankly, I would be apprehensive to ride the trails for several months.  There are several branches that are broken in the trees from the ice storm that have not fallen yet.  I would not want to be out on the trails on a windy day.  I could easily see the danger of the limbs falling onto a person.
