Looking at buying a 4H slant GN 04 model NorStar by CM.  Has 10' SW, not a LQ, mid tack, rear tack.  It is all aluminum except the roof is fiberglass.

Does anyone own one or has owned one and what was your experiences, good and bad welcome.

Owner says empty weight is around 6,500lbs. Has a 25 gal fresh water tank, no holding tanks.  We will be hauling 4 mules 15h or less and none over 850lbs.  Will our 07 F250 Super Duty handle this trailer? (not a dually).  Thinking loaded will be around 10,000lbs....less than 12,000.

Thank you for any comments.

Mary

We have an 06 Cimarron 10' s.w. mid tack, full l.q. When we are loaded with 50 gal. of water, tack, and 2 mules the trailer weighs right at 13,600. DOn't remember the exact figures on the scale sheet. Total length of the trailer is 25 1/2 feet on the floor. Hope this helps.

Thank you longears.

Mule people will understand, appreciate your reply.

Just wondering if the F250 would handle this big of a trailer although we will NEVER exceed load limit with our 4 mules.

Was wondering about that fiberglass roof.... no experience with that.  Current owner says he had to have it replaced while under warranty and now its great!!!  Says A/C will run you out of there sitting in the sun in Texas heat.

Any thoughts, suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Mary
