Slant vs straight load? I have a slant...like it very much. Horse loads fine, unloads just fine. Performs just fine too. While a slant has draw backs, so do the straight loads so there is no right or wrong...better or best situation here.

you are getting off the subject of slant vs. straight what is better. My question is do they make a 4 horse straight load BP.
Several manufacturers make a 4 horse straight load BP. Most of your options here are going to be a stock-type trailer. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but tack storage will be minimal. Most only have a small spot under the manger in the front of the trailer or none at all.

Personally I prefer a 4 horse h-t-h, for all the reasons that were previously given against slant loads. They are perfect for those all-days shows where you get the extra shelter of that middle area, plus you can check or get to all your horses should you need to.
As for the 4 horse straight load....my old coach had a Trail-et 6 horse head-tail straight load which was a PITA, especially if you needed to pull the middle horse - you'd have to unload the first or last horses to get them out, although with a 4 horse head-tail it would be a bit easier. But IMO, the extra room that centre stall a 4 horse head-head gives you is so worth it.
