Screams SCAM. I did a reverse look up on the phone number and it is unpublished. According to the pictures it is at a "dealership" so the number shouldn't be unpublished. That is a HUGE red flag to me.

You would think the scammers would stay away from here, since people here usually catch a scam ad really fast and expose it. And now the ad is marked "fraud". I was wondering where the scammer stole the photos from as it is a very pretty trailer.

check this one out. It is hysterical. I advertised my trailer for sale on this site and on tacktrader... I get lots of scam replies from tacktrader responses. I responded "conjunction junction, what's your function" which confused the hell out of him - hahahahaha =======================================================================

I guess they think we're really idiots here or something. That is so phony sounding anyway, and you can hardly understand what they are trying to say.
That's the problem... There are enough "greedy" idiots with some cash in this country, to keep them fishing. It the greed that makes people take the bait, ridiculous as it sounds

HEY!!! That's my trailer. It is on HTW as ad #102916, priced at $59,850. I am a dealer in Indiana. We have used HTW for years, as well as our own web site, and haven't ever had this happen before. We do regularly get scammers responding to our ads. So far they have been quite obvious.

I'm a SilverLite dealer in Wi, sorry to hear this is your trailer Kay. I guess we all have to keep our eyes open! Fortunately most people are honest! It's too bad we can't sell Spirits at that price, they'd be sproutin' wings and flying out!!

Hi Kay, I had the ad marked as a scam as I tried several times to get the guy to tell me where I can take a look at the trailer. The phone number comes back to a different person and when called comes back to some sort of registration company. I'm still in contact with this person, you said that it is your trailer or is it just your ad. Let me know I will continue to attempt to have him deliver the trailer.

Kay, I'm in contact with this guy too. He is obviously a scammer similar to several who have contacted us throughout the year claiming to be in or from another country and wanting to use a credit card to purchase a trailer. This guy told me that he has removed the trailer from HTW because someone has met his price but if I still want it I can get it by contacting the freight company as he is in Ireland.

Have fun with him. I can't believe there are people who fall for this. I got two scams trying to buy trailers today. All I had to do was give them my account numbers so they could wire the money to me!!!

The ad looks to have been taken from Ebay. At least that's what the little "camera" icon in the bottom right corner indicates. Whenever I see that camera, I know the ad has been "lifted".

Why does your trailer look different on the interior than this one in the fraud ad?

Guess I need to pay closer attention. That is NOT my trailer. I looked at the interior pictures, and you are right. Different fabric on the dinette, etc. The building behind the exterior picture is the same color as our building, and I jumped to conclusions. Sorry about that.
