Asking about peoples taste in horse trailers and gathering good market & sales information is good business.  No one meant no harm here.  They're just a bit territorial.  Timing is everything.

Many here simply wish to keep the bulletin board as free as possible from self serving posts that promote specific products.  As a newcomer you simply didn't know the environment.  It's kind of like asking someone about their life insurance policy.  A good question, unless you're asking the relatives of the deceased at his funeral. 

Then it would be, bad timing - wrong place.
