Depends on the size of the car, a 4 horse slant will be approx 16' on the shortwall of the horse section. So depending on the car and the design of the trailer(no mangers, removable post) it could be done. The other option would be to pull a car trailer behind the horse trailer. In Kentucky the law states you can be 75' from front bumper to rear of last trailer, and that the center trailer must be of fifth wheel/gooseneck design.

I actually saw a converted car hauler on here that is now a 2h straight with a huge DR. I believe it was 24' on the floor. I can't recall if there was a solid wall between the horses and the DR, or it that was removable. Do a search on this site under 2 horse trailers.

How about a truck that can haul the car (tow truck type) and bumper pull trailer hitched to the truck?
Well I almost bought a flatbed but lost out on the deal....I am just trying to use my diesel pickup truck first to see if there is any idea of a horse/car combo.

6 horse head to head. Put either the horse up front and the car in the rear or vice versa. Most of these trailers are 30' to 34' on the floor with a rear and side ramps, tandem 7000# to 10,000# axles. There should be enough room for three horses and a automobile. You'll need some tie downs in the floor for the car and a dually to safely tow this combo. Just trying to give you some ideas.

We are a trailer manufacturing company based outside of Knoxville TN. We specialize in steel trailers. Tell me what size of a trailer you are needing so I can tell how much and how long it would take to build it! You can see what our trailers look like on our web site. www.southerndiamondtrl.com

Now there's an idea, I just wonder if the trailer is too narrow to get the car inside. So basically i would just load the horse in the frotn slant and then take the rest of the slants out and place the car behind the horse huh? I'll look into some 6 horse trailers. Do you know about what they weigh empty? I figure a horse is 2,000, car 4,000 and 1,000 of accessories.
