I loved the classy look of the old Bloomer. Why mess with a great thing? Now it looks like a cheap, big, ugly box. Reminds me of the JD Sutherland trailer.

Can't say that I like it. Going on looks only the bottom extruded aluminum and square windows are a little too modern and "cheapy" looking to me. Why mess with such a good thing imo, but they did. For a few at least.

I don't like the looks of those new-fangled stop/turn/tail lights they've got. If you break or blow one of those out on the road, you can bet you're NOT gonna wheel into a truckstop and pick up a new one! Little things like that can make a nice trailer very impractical. Just MHO.

The new bloomer looks like they want to get out of the horse busness and get into toy haulers. I wonder how the door hatches will hold up. They look like camper hatches. I don't like the square windows. Might horse more look out space but looks like a metal office building in the middle of log homes.

Being a horsetrailer dealer I often read posts here on horsetrailerworld. I have to tell you that I am very supprised in this post. I will tell you I am a bloomer dealer and I beleive the current style that bloomer has been manufactoring is a good lookin trailer. My thoughts on the new style are that it is one awesome looking trailer that is very innovative with the extrusions running through the mangers and cool to see that the hinges are hidden, very streamline. I hope to see that it grows on the ones who think the trailer looks cheap, because we all know bloomer does not build a cheap trailer only one of the very best.

That's the problem orange, we know Bloomer's are a top of the line trailer but this design goes a long ways away from their traditional approach and it's hard to swallow. I'm sure it is still a very nice but ugly trailer. 13

I think it will be alot like the case with a new car. I remember the new BMW 5 series...the new edgy one. At first everyone was like...what in the world?
But now after it's been out for a while and you see one...I'm like wow, that is one sharp car.

Sometimes...friends of friends get them and things leak out I guess. That why I posted the link. That was the only site I had seen them on. Not to promote a site at all...if you or anyone else here know of a site that has some pic...please post a link. I would like to see more pics myself. This is why I sometime hate these boards...you post up something cool and the ring leaders accuse you of things you have no idea about.

Firedog-I saw this trailer sitting in front of the factory several weeks back while on a business trip to Austin. Their plant sits adjacent to IH-35 so it's not like an Area 51 where you can't take photos. I could have easily taken a photo had I wanted, but it looked too strange for an old faithful 4-Star fan.

Just went back and looked at the pictures again and have to say that even on second glance, the only thing that I like about the trailer is the Bloomer logo. Strongly dislike the extruded manger doors and the windows are just plain ugly, ugly, ugly. I know some trailers are now being built by being stacked and glued, eliminates the frame, but the end result is a square, boxy trailer.

You may as well get used to it. Your beloved Sundowner, 4-Star, Sooner, Elite, Silver Star, etc will eventually go to a different style. Every time one of the BIG 3 come out with a new pick-up design everyone pretty much starts to puke, cuss and raise hell. "They should have left them alome, they looked find just like they were", WAAAAA, WAAAAA, WAAAAA. Crybabys! Sixty days later here they come wheeling up on a new ride, that sixty days ago was as ugly as all get out. Now it's the finest hydocarbon comsuming vehicle on the planet. You will buy one, maybe not a Bloomer, but it will be different than what you got. Any of you still hauling horses in the back of a two ton farm truck or maybe even in the bed of a pick-up truck? I didn't think so. Just be glad that things do change, most of the time for the good. Be glad you can afford a horse, a truck and trailer of your choice.

Sixty days ain't gonna take the ugly out of that trailer. I know Bloomer sold fairly recently and I'm sure they came in with all kinds of new and fresh ideas, both to cut costs and to make their own statement. Great for the folks at Platinum who now build the best looking trailer on the market.

I guess I don't have anything constructive to say but I did crawl around a Bloomer showcase model at the NFR in Dec. Lets just say I didn't have to mortgage our house six times to pay for it that baby would have gone home with me. (It was the black one that was on this website a while back)

I am not accusing anybody of anything. I simply asked if anybody had seen the new Bloomer and what they thought of it. Everybody has a trailer or car or horse breed that they like, but that is why we live in AMERICA. I see a lot of trailers almost every day and I like a few of the trailers that are being manufactured today. I agree that sometimes a change is good or bad, depending on the person who is buying or just looking or just dreaming. It is hard to test drive a trailer like you would a car or a horse, so to speak. Sometimes you just have to either like it or hate it. and thats my 2 cents.

I am a Bloomer dealer and I have read several requests to view the new Bloomer body style.I have posted multiple pictures on www.wildfiretrailers.com for your viewing pleasure.
I am located next door to the Bloomer manufacturing plant and I would be more than happy to give a tour of the plant, the new Bloomers and/or answer any questions anyone may have.
