Those of you who have ridden at Long C and met Jack know what a gracious and accomodating host he is and that he is just a really nice man. Well his mom is not in the best of health right now so please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
We camped and rode at Long C this past weekend and missed seeing Jack behind the counter or out delivering firewood. In addition to the normal upkeep associated with a horse campground and riding area, Jack and his staff are busy cleaning up downed trees from the tornado this spring. The trails we rode were in great shape and the campground was as nice as ever.

The last time we were there, we met Jack's mom. She was so sweet. She kept the bath house nice and clean and joked about how she was just the hired help.
