Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to price a trailer my dad wants me to sell for him. I have very little experience in trailer trading so any advice is welcomed! Here are the specs:
-2000 featherlite stock/combo GN
-24x7 feet
-has center divider gate and rubber mats
-dressing room with bridle hooks and saddle racks
-needs new tires, does not have spare
- cosmetically in pretty good shape, just a couple knicks here and there
-clean title

I would look for similar trailers here using the searching function to come up with a price.
Age can be a relative thing, depending on the condition of the trailer. I bought a 1999 Featherlite stock trailer in 2011 for $6500. 16’, center and rear gates with sliding door in them, calf gate on the nose and escape door in the front stall. It had been used to haul fox hunters and looked like it had never been used. Even the mats looked new. Plus, it had 5 new tires on it.
If I were to sell it now, it would go for double what I paid for it, as it has been very well maintained, and the current market is crazy.
