Last November we found our floor was severely water damaged in our 2013 Bison trailer. The water damage WAS NOT a result of anything Bison had done. We had inadvertently left our water pressure regulator off at one camp and had blow a coupleof connections. However, there was one connection behind the toliet hidden in the cabinet that we missed and over time with a slow seeping leak it damaged the floor.
?As it was going to require removing a major portion of the interior to repair we decided to gut it completely and start over new. With access to a shop with all the woodworking tools and equipment we would need we begain. Cabinets are solid Knotty Alder along with all the trimwork. Interior bathroom door is also solid Knotty Alder in a barn door design. All door framing is solid Knotty Alder as well.Interior wallboard came from our local Sundowner dealer. We upgraded all lighting to LED, replaced all plumbing, updated wiring, replaced toilet and sinks and added many special touches. Was a long project but also very rewarding.
Tried to attach photos but they were too large...if you're interested, send me a message and I'll email or text them to you.
