Gard, I worked the world equest. games in 2010, at the Ky horse park, I couldn't believe the care and attention given to these horses. They start out in a mandatory isolation for several days with constant monitoring by Horse Park security and the USDA. They bring their own grooms along also, they are the only ones allowed access to the horses, these horses are bathed, groomed(not a hair out of place) and worked out at least 2 times each day by the grooms. I know this because I worked security for the games at the barns. You wouldn't believe the trailer that was brought in from Saudia Arabia just for the games!! It was a sight I will never forget.
