I am getting a new cimaron trailer that has a 5 year warranty with it that has outlaw living quarters. Outlaw has a 3 year warranty, but I will need to decide whether to spend a good bit more to buy a 5,6, or 7 year Trailer Gard warranty on the living quarters. Does anyone have any experience with Trailer Gard or Outlaw living quarters to offer any suggestions? It seems wasteful to pay for a 5 year warranty when the first 3 years will not be used.

Most extended warranties do little, but generate additional profits for the selling dealer. Most of your LQ accessories have their own manufacturers' warranties. Unless Outlaw specifically states their warranties include them, their only liability is usually limited to the products they manufacture and the installation of the individual components.
Most of the accessories are standardized throughout the industry and are fairly reliable. Many problems down the line are caused by bugs or dirt in gas orifices, and ammonia refrigerant losses.
If you put the money it would cost to fund the additional warranty into a savings account, you will be far ahead five years from now.
