Does anyone know of any good horse trails near Winnsboro, TX? I found one posting from someone who lives there talking about how Winnsboro is known for their trails, but none of the horse trail websites indicate any trails in Wood county or any of the surrounding counties, so I am baffled..

Only one I am aware of fairly close to there with hookups is Cooper Lake which is north of Sulphur Springs, about 50 miles from Winnsboro. TETRA is putting in some new trails close to Mineola (20miles away) but so far only 6-7 miles and no hookups. There may also be ranches around there that you can ride on.
Any trails near Winnsboro, TX?
