pros:you can unload any horse at any time from any stall. usually have bigger stalls. very popular with transporters. if a horse goes down, you can get to it, you dont have to get other horses off the trailer.cons:horses move around a lot more with inexperienced haulers. some are facing forward with just breast bars in front of them as opposed to a whole divider. an average 4horse hth is about the same length as a 6 horse slant load
