I am having major problems with the antenna Roadstar 2000 on my new Cherokee LQ horse trailer...Another friend of mine has the same problem with the Roadstar on his Exiss...I talked with one RV place locally and all he could say was he did not reccommend that brand because they do not work well...Any suggestions...

If your major problem is signal quality, then you can install a TV signal amplifier. You can find them at radioshack or other electronic stores. In is just a small box that installs from the TV Cable in your trailer to the TV. It has worked well for us where other campers did not receive a signal and we did. We have the Wineguard omnidirectional and I'm not impressed with the quality. Had a multi-directional batwing antenna on our old trailer and thought it was superior to the disk type antenna we have now.

Also, look it over carefully should you encounter hail. Hailstones can crack the plastic and it will come flying off as you go down to the highway.... guess how I know.
