Location: Middle Tennessee		Does anyone have any idea of what your average tounge weight would be on an older two horse trailer with a dressing room. I don't know what brand the trailer is, but it looks very much like the the trailer on ad #141799. I'm having some work done on my RV for towing reasons and the fabrication place wants to know how heavy the tounge is. I'm just looking for an estimate, doesn't have to be exact. Thanks for you help. This is such a great site.

Mine is similar to this one,  http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=137513  ........."dont ask". 

With the horses and tack tongue is 800#, add a bale or two and some water and 900+ is not hard to do.
