Need info on Circle J trailers , looking at one, might be to heavy for F-150 1/2 ton? or can it pull it? three horse slant with tack ,,they want 3.500 for it think its a 86  Thanks Lorinda

You have to ask what the empty weight of the trailer is. It is on the certificate of title.

Then, add up how much your horses and equipment weigh.

Then, look in your owners manual to see how much you can tow. What size engine do you have? Do you have the factory-installed tow package (which is heavy duty springs, trans oil cooler, frame-mounted hitch, etc, etc,.) is your truck 4x4, do you have a Super cab or an extended cab or regular cab?  what length is the box on the pickup bed?  What year is your truck? Auto or manual transmission?

what kind of terrain? mountains? hilly? flat?
