Hi there.New to the board. So I have new to me trailer 1972 McQuerry 2 horse bp. the bulk of the major work has been done (re-wiring, new floor, new brakes) now it's my turn to step in and complete the appearance and interior. I will be re-painting, taking it back and trying to do it right along the way. The major part I have to undertake is the re-build of the divider. The original one is long gone, came with one sheet of plywood to floor and no bum chains (nice little bend in one door from some fat a$$ leaning on it). I figure after years of transport horses via different methods I should be able to design one that will work for the trailer and my horse.Has anyone out there done the whole divider build? any advice? start drinking now?

3/4" plywood, adel clamps, bolts and a saw will build a divider. Chain, screw type chain links, s type chain ends and pipe insulation will make the butt straps.
Padding can be purchased for the divider from several sources.
