hog1back, I see that you are in CA. We don't have as much to choose from as in the midwest. I would look for a used Elite, 4 Star or Platinum (All Aluminum). There are more top brands , but even though none of these three trailers are made in the west, I do see quite a few of them available on the West Coast and we do have some dealers for these trailers. You might come across a C&C, Eby, Jamco, Turnbow or Hart, but less likely. For West Coast (Oregon) made, Siverlite and Silverado all aluminum are both good trailers.
