We're getting ready to start insulation my trailer and I have run into an issue that I can't find the answer for.  One of the beams in the trailer sticks out about an inch further than the other beams.  We were going to use the 1/2" insulation and put the stripping on either side of that beam, leaving that beam showing, but I'm concerned about moisture.  So would we have to add stripping to the other beams to bring them out the same distance?  Or would we be okay to leave that one beam showing?  I can get pics of that would help.

Depending on where the rib is located, you could insulate and add your furring strips. then insulate and build a beam over the rib to use it as an accent.  Put LED lights in it and what ever!
