Happy Thanksgiving from our humble abode in Olathe, KS. We're thankful for our men and women fighting for our freedom all around the world - I'm personally thankful for a Savior and for the many people who look for trailers on this site and who post on this board to share information.

A happy Thanksgiving and a blessed time with friends and family to all of you here. It's been a great place to hang out, glean good information, and read enjoyable posts. I am blessed with having my son home from Kuwait for the holiday - a REAL blessing for this mom!

Back at ya Dave.....I also would like to say that we ALL have alot to be thankful for, but please keep your thoughts and prayers focused on all the families who will not have a son or daughter or maybe a dad or mom with them this holiday because they are protecting us overseas or maybe lost them recently due to the war.....Those are the ones I am most thankful for because if it was not for them, we would not be sitting down with our families.....When you say your family prayer, remember them......when you bless your food, remember them......GOD BLESS AMERICA...GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS........HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL ON HTW.COM!!

BTW,Paul,I opened up my new issue of "Country" magazine,and saw the most beautiful picture in there that was made in Vermont.It was a huge Christmas tree at night,in the center of a snowy town square,a little church in the background.It was in Jerico,VT.
I guess in wintertime up there,you can even be thankful you live there with scenes like that!

Thankful both of my boys made it home from their freshman year of college to spend the holiday with us. Now I gotta worry about them going back on Sunday!Please drive carefully, it may be my my kids you meet on the road!!!!!!

Yeah, Jericho is north and east of me...Did Tanker Training with their Fire Department a couple years back, nice little town...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We have a lot to be thankful for in America. My husband was stationed in Afghanastan last year and after seeing pictures and listening to some of his stories I don't take my life for granted anymore. While some of us (me included) are complaining about gas milage on our fancy one ton duelys there are people living under bridges and carrying everything they own in beat up shopping carts.
Be sure to hug your horse, give to the less fortunate, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving day with family and friends.

I am thankful for my husband, whom I nearly lost to heart disease on July 4 and for my sister-in-law (yes, really!) who was released from the hospital yesterday in good health after a cancerous kidney was removed. This will be a very special Thanksgiving for our family, because it came so close to being two members short.

We all have much of which we are most grateful. We live in the best country in the world, have food on our tables, and are blessed to have a hobby that involves a special kinship with animals.
We have a love of life and have worked hard to get the wonderful things we have. We are not afraid of getting dirty or eating dinner while sitting on a hay bale. We have spent long hours and many tears caring for our pets. We have laughed, become better people and been amazed with our companionship with them. We have learned about life and death, about happiness and sadness. We know what a new beginning is and when it's time to let go. We have developed an independence and a can-do attitude because of our horses, something non-owners can never understand.
We have traveled to wondrous places and shared new visions with our families and friends. We have recovered from heart brakes while in the arms of those same friends. We have met many wonderful people who share our interests, and learned many invaluable lessons as a result. Our lives are richer because of these inter reactions. We are given the special consideration that many of you so unselfishly offer in large amounts.
