Does anyone make a 2 horse small living quarters with a slide. Trying to stay under 24 foot with a goose neck if possible. All I need is a bed. stove, and toilet/shower.

Almost any manufacturer will build one, but it is highly unlikely that you will find a used unit. A two horse with a 10' short wall would have less than a 24' long floor length.

Thanks - Can you recommend any manufacturers to start with. In doing a quick search Logan appears to have what you mention, but Heart shows nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
If I understand correctly, with a 24 foot floor and the standard goosneck overhang I am looking at a roughly 28 foot overall length. - Correct?

Good friends run a conversion company and they recommend nothing less than a 6' slide, ideally an 8' to allow room for couch or dining area. They did a 6' slide last spring and I personally thought it was a waste as just had basically a large chair in it.
So to get a 8' slide, you will need at least an 10' short wall to make the trailer frame work correct IMO. But you will lose a lot of counter wall space with a slide.
They have done almost every trailer and slides are not created equally. Some better, some not so good. They recommend a hydraulic system for the slide. Electric just doesn't hold up in their opinion.

A two horse with a 10' short wall would be 21' on the floor, plus 7'6" or 8' for the gooseneck. You will need at least this much length for a slide out. Hart, Cimarron, and most manufacturers will build this. Do not assume that a model is not available just because you don't see it in a brochure or ad. Advertising is going to display common models and sizes or somethng spectacular. One thing to think about is that a slide out (you definately want hydraulic, by the way) does not enable more "stuff" in a living area, it just gives you more floor space. As a matter of fact, the frame and mechanism of a slide out consumes wall space that could accommodate more cabinets, a larger refrigerator, etc.

you can get a 8.5 LQ 2 horse with a 6 ft. slide out total length 24'6" Trail Rider Horse Trailers sorry that is a bumper pull the goose neck would be 27 ft. 9 in. with a 5 ft. slide

Thanks much folks for the information here and in the private messages I received. Looks like I have a lot of homework to do and a few calls to make. Great information - Thanks again.It appears I can stay in the overall 26 - 29 foot goose neck length - equivalent to a 24 foot bumper pull overall length with all of the fittings we would be looking for. To answer the question about the slide you might say I am dimensionally challenged :-) I have a short one on my current 5th wheel where the sofa moves back to give extra floor room by the dinning table. It is a hand pull out (no electric or hydraulic stuff to worry about) And is held in place by a couple of jack poles - works well.Ill also consider the 3 horse model as the 3rd bay can hold extra horse or camping stuff too.
