You know what they say about word of mouth advertisement. When you come across a good thing you tend to share it, well that's why I'm writing this. I'm not a dealer or rep, and hopefully this is alright to post.May 22 we picked up our new trailer built in Elkhart, IN. by Harmar, brand name Trail Rider Trailers. I couldn't be more pleased. Two brothers run the business and they are great to deal with. I don't know how many times I called and bugged Randy with questions on quality and construction. Since I hadn't heard of their trailers before I grilled him on everything, yet every time I called he was more then happy to answer my questions. I have found not one thing that has let me down, the attention to detail is in every thing.If your looking for a new trailer, I recommend giving these guys a call.

The Harmer brothers are well respected in their trailer conversions and now their own line of trailers. My wife and I visited their business a few years ago, and were very well impressed. They seem like good people with whom to do business.

genebob, Sorry for the absent response, been busy enjoying the trailer. It's 17' on the short with a 12' slide. As Randy posted if you look at http://trailridertrailers.com/gallery.php?gallery_id=30 you'll find pictures of our trailer at the bottom. Wife and I had them delete the fire place and oven options. We also went with a durable fabric for the upholstery, the bronc pattern, we have dogs and don't want to worry about the leather being damaged.

"ride a draft it make your butt look small" Funny signature! I actually meet a woman one time who road a Clydesdale. I complemented her horse and with out skipping a beat she straight up said she needed a horse that could handle carrying her around all day.

The mfg stated 12,600. But I took it to the scales at MFA and came up with about 14,000. All in total my rig fully loaded came in at 28,000, but with the C4500, she doesn't know it's back there.

Really nice outfit, and a good truck for your loaded rig, for towing and stopping! Good thing to see! Enjoy it and show pictures of where you go when you can....we know you are really proud and happy to have it! Congrats!

Thanks. Having weight my first trailer and realizing how close I was to the max GVW of the truck, I've always shook my head when seeing folks pulling twice my trailer with a one ton truck. I new this trailer would need some heavy horses up front to keep it under control. It's nice knowing you've got enough brakes should the trailer brakes fail or overheat.
