Hi,

Are there any manufacturers in the US of a drivable horse trailer?   Just wondering.

Maybe an RV with horse quarters on the back? I know you can get toy hauler RVs so why not horse haulers. The horse area would need to be reinforced I would think with tougher, stronger contruction on floors and walls, etc. Horses can be incredibly strong.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking, something like that.  I thought I had seen something like that at one time here in the states.

There are horse vans that are commonly used. They are built on a long wheelbase truck chassis, and vary in sizes and capacities. You see them on the race tracks and shows. Here's one builder:

I had seen a toy hauler, and thought, that would be nice to have a horse hauler, but like someone said, it would need to be beefed up, and that would make it a heavier unit, and then you would need a bigger truck engine to pull it.

Oh well, it was fun to think about it.

When I win the lottery, I want to buy a nice truck & trailer and hire a driver.  THAT is the ticket for me!! LOL

I remember coming across an old Western Horseman magazine a few years ago that was dated back in the seventies.  Why I remember all this is that flipping thru the magazine there was a dealer add for a camper/horsetrailer.  The picture showed a full 5th wheel camper with a horse area in the back.  Just like the Toy haulers today.  It had a ramp with 2 or 3 horse straight load and a walk thru door to the camper area.

Dangit, Retento, you beat me to it!  I was going to post that link!

Of course, we'd ALL have to hit the lotto and still go in partners to afford that beauty.

But what a sweet ride
