I'm finishing the interior of a 4' shortwall GN.
I have a couple of Coleman items that can be run from the small disposable tanks, or can be connected via a special connector and hose, to a 17-20 pound gas grill sized tank. (Stove, Mr. Buddy Heater, and soon, the Hot Water on Demand.)
I had the LP tank bracket installed on the outside jack wall, and now I am looking for a connector that will go from the tank into the living area and then to splitter so that I can connect several "appliances" via hoses/connectors.
I am VERY unfamiliar with all the terminology ... such as POL, low pressure, and what's the difference between "propane" and LP? when is a regulator needed? I have seen one of those devices on my gas grill...
Any help, advice, suggestions will be very welcome.

I'll give it a shot. LP and propane are one in the same. A POL is the safety valve built into all new propane tanks that prevents the rapid discharge of gas in the event of a leak. It is there and you don't need to be concerned about it. All appliances use low pressure gas, measured in ounces, and you need a regulator to restrict the tank pressure to that amount. You can buy preset regulators that attach to your tank at most places that have propane tanks. You also need the flexible hose to attach to your regulator and run to your piping. You can use 3/8 or 1/2 inch black pipe to run into you trailer, then use flexible hose to connect your appliances. Use black pipe fittings such as T's to give you as many connection points as you require. The pire is available at any hardware store and the flexible lines are available in various lengths and with various end fittings at most places that sell propane tanks. There is nothing magic nor scary about doing the plumbing of your system. Just use teflon tape on all joints and check for leaks with soapy water after everything is connected and pressured up.Hope this helps.

Thank you Tx Vaquero!!
You put that into terms I can understand when seeking help.
What I have read leads me to believe that appliances that have the throw-away cylinder brass fitting do not require an in-line regulator; while others that have a standard threaded fitting would reguire a regulator. I am comparing my backyard gas grill, with regulator, to the camp stove that has the throw-away cylinder fitting and requires a special hose / adapter to work off the larger bulk tank.

I can't believe the Tx. is as smart as his post appears that he is,but he is dead on, and so are you about the regulator. Just make sure that you don't use anything that requires the regulator, without it. That will make you the entertainment for the day.

Must be all the rain TX is getting ...
No... I don't want to be anyone's entertainment. Recently a very sad weekend on the shore-to-shore trails here in Michigan when someone's camper blew up and the occupant died in the fire.
I don't have all the details but it had to be a terrible thing to happen.
