Thinking about selling two of my trailers and purchasing a larger trailer. How do I know if this is one of the trailers that had frame issues? I have searched the forum but can't seem to sort it all out. Here is the trailer....http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=823782Mike

If you have the VIN # you can tell if it's all aluminum. The last 6 numbers will have 2 letters in it. LA or AA means all aluminum and VA and ZA are steel.
40K Seems like a lot of money for a 13 year old trailer, horse area inside walls not lined to the roof, roof not lined and insulated, no slide, no generator, probably needs to be serviced, wheels pulled, brakes, bearings, seals and TIRES replaced as necessary. Water heater, heater, A/C, appliances and etc are aging out. Could be a nice trailer, could be a money pit. If you do got to look at it, take the time to pull a mat or three and wash the floor for them, take a garden hose, nozzle and some soap and a stiff brush, no telling what you'll find under the mats. Good luck, I would have to pass on the 40K.

That is the main thing. If you like it, can buy it and what you are looking for, price really doesn't matter that much. In my opinion.I bought our thru the auction in 2008 for $27,500 as a repo and it still had the plastic from the factory on everything in the LQ and only looked like 1 horse was every hauled in it. This is the same trailer I was just offered more money last week at the same auction 7 years later! Try and figure that out! Not bad being able to buy a nice trailer, use it 7 years and get offered more than what I give for it. Just wish I was had the cash difference to upgrade now. Not interested in payments since we are finally payment fee.....
