I'm doing my weekend package conversion myself (except the electrical wiring). REFUSE to let hubby help me. I'm by NO MEANS a carpenter, but he's worse than me.
So far, here are a few pictures of things I've accomplished.
This is just a template for the cabinet door. It is not well made (edges don't meet up and stuff). It matched what my ceiling will also be made of.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! What material are you using for the walls?
I'm using some pine tongue & groove boards I found @ Lowe's. They are similar to these (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=13787-46086-259038&lpage=none) but there is no edge or center "bead". The ones with the bead as what I started to use because they were almost $5 a pack (14 sf) cheaper, but once my walls started shrinking (after installing shower and such) I decided that $5 wouldn't make a huge difference in my expense. I like the ones I chose better because they 'appear' as wider boards instead of having the grooves in the middle of each plank.

Looks great!
I have been looking at living quarters for a couple of year and haven't seen one that suits me so I'll be building my own also. Hope mine turns out as well as yours looks like it is going to.

Thank you for the reply. One more question. Was the tongue and groove finished or unfinished and if unfinished did you stain and varnish before installation? Or did you just leave it the natural color? Hard to tell from the pics.
Also, are you using it all the way around the dressing room and if yes was it long enough for the tall walls? You have really inspired us and we have decided to use the tongue and groove too it looks so nice.
