Went trailer shopping yesterday. Was kinda shocked.Dealer had a nice size inventory IF you wanted a living Qtrs. Also was surprized at least how I saw it besides only LQs inventory was eaither the cheap of the cheap or medium high end to high end.We need/want a 3 horse slant, stock rear door,no rear tack, alum.standard dressing room.Prefer used but will consider new.Was told unless it was steel no can do in new. They had a 1995 used Feather Lite 3 horse with a home done wood lined dressing room I liked but it didn't have a escape door? That was a new one on me also.It was priced high I think at over $12k.New Exciss was $14/$15 but rear tack, twin rear doors bias tires etc.Trailer dealers are far and few between.Guess its back to shopping the internet.Oh and the 1995 Feather Lite seemed a LOT better made then Exciss.Latche's,cables, fittings all bigger, thicker, heavier built.

I had a very good experience when I was trailer shopping by posting in the "trailer wanted" section of this website.  I had several dealers contact me that had exactly what I wanted or close to it and it sure made my shopping experience less time consuming.  I also found that you will find far more selection for used trailers like you describe on this site under the "for sale" section than at my local dealers.   Running a distant second and third, but also resources for used trailes for sale, are Tacktrader.com and Craigslist.  I have used all three, but sold my last trailer and bought my current one through this site.

Ditto on what headhunter has said. I have bought two used trailers from private individuals listed on this site and sold one. The one I sold, did so, in only 4 1/2 hours!! I found the largest selection here and am very pleased with each transaction. In each case I found what I wanted at prices I could afford.

You have to get to the Exiss Event level to get the nicer Exiss trailers in my opinion. Have collapsable rear tack that you can move the saddle rack to the dressing room.

Something like this????

Try to find a trailer with an escape door on the first stall. Just having a pass through door is not as convenient, and can't be used as an escape door while loading a horse.

Hey didn't notice but that trailer dosen't have a excape door eaither? What gives with that? I'm wanting to replace a CM Ranger,3 horse slant with a escape door, big stock type rear door and front tack.Don't want a steel trailer again.Mines popping rust BETWEEN the gavaneal panals, seam sealer been falling out, rust in welded seams etc.Its a 95 model and the last two years it started down the rust bucket trail.Plus I want one that is lined or double wall. The old CM has had some lets try to kick our way out etc.

Dang, it sure dosen't have an escape door. It's one of those that is not curb side.  Huh... That is a Exiss Event XT300 Limited.  About a 18,000-19,000 dealer asking price. They are out there. You found an excellent LQ trailer, you will find what you are looking for....

Here is another one with the escape door.  It should be double walled in the rear if Event XT.

Here is another one but I don't know if the rear tack is removable. Great Deal!!!!! It's an 07' Adams.

This is a aluminum stock with dress and escape door.

Another one exactly like you want!!!!!!!

hounddog, I noticed your profile has a Danielsville, GA address.  I called someone in your area who had a 3 horse Sundowner Pro-Stock (thier stock trailer) for sale. If I recall it was pretty reasonable. I'm not sure if I found it through this web site or StableMates.  I might still have her info if you need it. If so PM me and I'll look for it.  Also, I just bought a used 3 horse from Sundowner of GA and they treated me well.

The Exciss CX300 looks to be what I'm looking for.

hounddog, I just PM'd you with the contact info on that person around your area with the 3 horse sundowner.  It turns out I found the ad in the GA Dept. of Agriculture Farmers Market Bullitin which is a great resource for those of us in the GA area.  The ad date was back in early December.
