I would like to purchase a golf cart but I am concerned about pulling it behind my 3H LQ trailer with my F350 truck. Has anyone out there pulled a golf cart trailer behind their LQ trailer and if so are there any issues?

We've been to many shows where the exhibitors constantly use the rigs you are describing. They mount a small hitch on the back of the horse trailer, and use a small lightweight trailer to carry the gulf carts. These trailers usually are the ramp style tailgate used by lawn service companies or single wide tilting snowmobile trailers.
They obviously have to be disconnected and moved before you can access your horses. This is usually done after the cart is unloaded, and is easy to accomplish because of the light weight trailers. Parking your rig can be more difficult, because of the additional steps involved with the additional trailer. The easiest way is to find a straight in parking spot that doesn't require any backing which is almost impossible with a second trailer hooked up.
I have seen many of these rigs in PA,OH and IN. I don't know if they are legal in every state.

I pull one behind my LQ trailer several times a year. I have a back up camera on the horse trailer that allows me to keep an eye on the smaller trailer. You should take your windshield and seat off since it is easy for them to get blown off. Most of the time, I prefer to haul the golf cart in the back of the trailer. In my 4H LQ, I can haul the golfcart and one horse. My cart takes up almost 3 slant stalls. If you do decide to pull the cart on a trailer behind your horse trailer, it is very important that you have the hitch installed by a qualified trailer place. I prefer to have it mounted by the trailer factory. Safety chains and a electrical hookup is a must. I have heard that some states will ticket you, but I have never had a problem. Pick a quality trailer that is the right size for the job. You should adjust your speed accordingly.
During hunting season here in Arkansas, it is pretty common to see a 1/2 ton pickup pulling a tagalong camper pulling a 4 wheeler trailer pulling a fishing boat. You don't want to be in a gas station with them! It gets pretty comical.
Alot of the chuckwagon racers pull their wagons on trailers behind their horse trailers. This can get a little scary since they are sometimes pulling 20 ft + trailers behind them.

As far as legal, in Kentucky you can legally pull two trailers, the first trailer has to be a gooseneck/fifth wheel. You can not be longer than 75' from front bumper to rear of last trailer. The weight of a golf cart and trailer would not be enough to worry about behind a horse trailer. A good tip would be put a trailer ball on the golf cart to move the little trailer around with once unhooked from the LQ.

I rather have the golf cart/PMV in the horse trailer, in front of the horses, so if I got to get the horses out in a hurry, I could do so. I don't like the thoughts of the truck being on fire, horses in the trailer with a 1000# cargo, landscape, lawnmower, expanded metal, golf cart trailer wth a 1000# golf cart hitched behind the trailer and not being able to just open the trailer doors or drop the ramp, so as to get the horses out in a hurry. Get you a bigger horse trailer? Do you really need a golf cart at the horse events? Could you make do with something like I use? I don't know, I just don't like all this tandem trailer stuff myself. It may look impressive coming through the showgrounds, but it sure ain't safe!!.... Ya'll thing about it.

Tandem trailers are only allowed in Washington state if you have a certain classification of CDL, no matter what size. I've only once ever seen a bumper pull trailer behind a gooseneck horse trailer here, and I've lived in Washington state for 35 years. Not real common in Western states, I don't know about the laws in other states, but you don't see it much in the Pacific Northwest at least.

You see them all the time here in Ky, usually it's a bass boat/jet ski's/golf cart behind a fifth wheel travel trailer, but I also see alot of buggies/wagons behind horse trailers those trailers are the stock type steel goosenecks though.

There are lots of people down here that pull wagons behind their horse trailers. Some pull the wagons on trailers, some just hook up the wagons to the trailer. These are rubber wheeled wagons. There is a length law but I don't know for sure what it is.

Well you know most of the trailers are made in the central part of the country and they are hauled to dealer lots 2 at the time. one behind the other.
Just put a trailer hitch on the golf cart as well. When you get to the show grounds, camp grounds, or where ever. Just unload your golf cart, hook it's trailer to it. and then you should have no problem parking the gooseneck
We got our EZ-GO in Jan. I have cranked the 4-wheeler up once since then, a golf cart will make you throw rocks at your 4-wheeler.
