Was wondering how many of you have the US Rider motor plan, and if you have had to use it, and how you like it, experiences, etc.

Thanks!

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it with the truck or trailer, but both my husband and I have needed to have our cars towed this past summer.  They were very responsive, had someone there to pick us up within an hour of our call - better than some of my experiences with AAA.

I have it and its great.  The first question they ask you when you call, is "do you have your hroses with you?"  They will arrange a safe place to take your horses if needed.

There have been many threads on here, and US Rider is the way to go if you haul horse.  AAA won't tow your trailer unless you have special coverage.

I've had to call them once in 2 years and they were extremely responsive.  Several of my friends that have them have also had good experiences with their service.  I highly recomend them.

US Rider is the BEST! I had a breakdown while pulling the trailer this weekend (thank goodness without horses) and they had someone out to tow my truck in no time. Their first concern was if I had horses that needed to be hauled somewhere safe. Very reassuring! The lady was super nice and called back to be sure everything had been taken care of. Great Service! I just had to brag on them.

Have it....LOVE IT... LOVE IT... LOVE IT! I have had it for 4 years and can not say enough good about it. I even gifted a friend, who hauls for me several times a year, with a free membership.

Best money you ever spent!

We got it also, never had to use it and hope I never do. But I feel alot better having it, than not. Can't you see me out beside the road in a "wheelchair" trying to change out a trailer tire or replacing a bottom radiator hose on the truck!...........ME EITHER!

What does US Rider offer?  My trailer is insured by my auto insurance under a separate policy.  Not sure if that includes towing.

Does US Rider provide trailer insurance?  If they do, then I'll drop my trailer from my auto policy and get the full meal deal from US Rider.

We have had USRider for four years. Have used it for flat tires on the trailer twice and once for a major breakdown - no brakes. They were "Johnny On The Spot" a tow or service truck was there within 20 minutes all three times. When the brakes went out on the truck, they had a tow truck that pulled out truck and trailer (no need to unload horses) 15 miles to a country fairgrounds where we could camp for the nite. Then he towed the truck to a repair shop in town.

Bottom line - Back on the road the next afternoon. I have thw trauck and trailer insured with State Farm. USRider is the only road service outfit that will deal wit horses. It is priceless to not have to unload horses by the side of the road.
