Is CM trailers still in business?  Or have they been bought out by somebody else.

I just bought a 2003 4 horse slant with a 8 ft. short wall.

just carpet in the front but does have an airconditioner installed.

It is 7' 6" wide and 26'  long  and all padded in the back.

Trailer has been very well taking care of.

Question is what would it cost to put a weekender package in the front just for occassional use?  Just need a rough guess.

Depends on what you call a weekender. Some consider a mattress in the bunk a weekender, others only consider a bathroom, galley and all the amenities a usable living space.

The basics of insulation and interior walls can cost ~2k if you have them done. AC and DC electric, water, tanks, appliances and cabinetry all add up quickly. A fully equipped 4' SW with bath can exceed $12k and go as high as your wishes dictate. An 8' SW will be more, because larger fridges, cabinets and couches are typically included.

If you have any wood working skills, a minimal amount of tools, and much determination, you can join the ranks of the many DIYers, who have done remarkable jobs building their ow LQs. This typically can save you 50 - 66% of the over all professional costs.

When my daughters were little till they went to college we used to go riding all the time. Went to the Big Horns once a year and did all the horse games around the county fairs here in Iowa. Then when they went to college it all kind of ended. Now both girls are in their late 20's and they want to start going out west again but said they are not sleeping in a stock trailer like we used to. Funny how a little age changes girls minds. So I bought this trailer and would like to put some living Quarter stuff in the front for them. It doesn't have to be to fancy but would like to try to do most of it myself. My brother in law works for Winnebago in Forrest City at the plant and does a lot of the custom work there and said he could help with the tech part of it.

Buy them a tent! :)

I don't think these two girls are going to sleep in a tent. If I did that I think I will be sleeping with the horses.
