Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. We just bought a trailer with a homemade partical LQ. Im not sure if we got a great deal or in over our heads! The trailer is insulated and panelled, has 12volt lights and outlets, shower and toliet. It has a slide with dinette too. What is is lacking is a kitchen. Can I buy a kit that has the sink, stove, fridge or does that have to be built by hand? My husband is handy but he's no finish carpenter! Any advice or direction on where to find supplies would be helpful. I hear all about kits, soft touch walls, etc but don't know where to buy them....can they be found at home depot/lowes/menards? thanks

Yes, there is a ready made thing like you are wondering about. The website was posted on this forum. I can't remember what the thing is called right now. I will do some searching.

If you are not close to a Surplus Camper/Trailer store, online or camper supplies,,,but the Surplus stores are the best and cheapest. I seen you are Ne,,,maybe you have one in your area.
We purchased almost all of mine at them, and my husband put my LQ in, very few things on line
good luck

I am highly intrigued by the Living Quarters to Go. However, as shown, it is not a configuration I want. I am wondering if there are similar units elsewhere. I would prefer not the cowboy shower--I already have a fine cowboy shower, but I need a kitchen unit with at least one propane burner.

Hey everyone! Another newbie from Nebraska!!! I've been searching your forums and haven't been able to find an answer, so thought I would post on this one and see if anyone can help...I am looking for components for our LQ trailer (i.e. couch that makes out into a bed, table/booth that also converts to a bed, etc....). Any ideas? I'm not aware of any surplus stores in NE. I've been told that you can pick up these components from salvage camper dealers, but again - not sure where to find one.

There is a company in Elkhart that will ship the the couches and dinettes, they are called RV Surplus and they have a website rvsurplus.net I have dealt with them on many occasions and they are a pleasure to deal with. I also believe that Jazz Sales is now selling to individuals you can check them out at jazzsales.com Also check Ebay search for RV Sofa or RV Dinette

Camping world stocks some RV components, but can be a little high. I would contact a conversion shop and ask them if they could point you in a direction. You could also try one of the interior companies like Sierra Interiors; I don't know if they sell just components, but we have great success in getting info from them for our LQ.
