Just sending this out to see if anyone knows how to adjust the water pressure in your trailer,  or does it just depend on the GPM of the pump that is installed.  I know you probably dont want to set the pressure to high or if even there is a way to do it.  The pressure in my sinks seem fine but for some reason the pressure in the shower doesnt seem to be as good as other trailers I have had in the past.   Its not that big of a deal, but if there was a way to increase the pressure on it just a little it would be nice.   (Yes I have made sure the twist nob on the shower head is turned all the way over.  I accidentally turned that in our first trailer and thought the water had run out.....lol)

I don't think there's any adjustment other than the pump that you have. If you can see any of the water lines you might check to see if the one to the shower has a kink in it that's preventing good flow.

I had another thought.... does your pump have a strainer between it and the tank? If it does it could be getting clogged.

From your original post it sounds like this is a new ( to you ) trailer so the pressure has never been higher than it is now. One possibility is that the shower head is a "low flow" head Per Federal regulations most built today are. If so, it is designed to limit the amount of water flow to conserve water.

Most of the heads have a small disc in the water path that can be removed to allow more water through. So along with checking for trash in the small passages in the head you may want to remove the disc and see if that improves the situation.  If asked by the Federal authorities I will deny any knowledge of this information

Mine does this too.  The LQ folks dont even know why but my shower makes my pump surge.  the sinks flow like home without the surge.  go figure.

My shower makes my water pump surge too.  Not that that info is helpful in any way - I don't know why either.

Thanks for the replies.   I have had the trailer for 2 years now.  I noticed the diff the first time I took a shower in the new trailer.  For some reason I got to thinking about it over the weekend and decided to ask here if anyone else had similar experiences and if there was a way to change it.   It works good the way it is but just a little weaker than my other shower.  I will check for the disc in the shower head and also for a filter.  I spend about 75 nights a year in my trailer, so a little extra pressure to get the dirt off would be nice.

Put one of these in, that'll increase the flow. http://www.shurflo.com/pages/RV/rv_categories/potable_water/extreme...

Had some problems with mine and found some stray plastic shavings plugging the line.

There should be a small plastic disc in your shower wand to keep the water flow down in the shower. You can simply remove it to get more water pressure. It is placed there to keep water usage down in the shower because the shower uses the most water and will eat up your stored water and also fill up your holding tanks faster.

Hope this Helps

Good Luck
