I owned one for a couple of years, 3 horse GN Renegade model I believe. It was a good trailer for the money. I'm sure they have changed a bit since 1996, but they were then, and still are as far as I know, a reputable company. Nice, solid trailer.

We have had a couple of Titans. Bought one new in 2002, put a great weekend pkg in it.. sold it for good $/ got a big all aluminum LQ/spent too much $$$

Titan is the best steel frame (w galvalume walls trailer on the market!! they look great forever if you take care and wash them once in a while... they are easy to pull and when I had our last one I looked like I knew what I was doin backin it around... You can't do better than that... so, for heaven's sake buy one and don't look at a cheaper aluminum that you might regret..

I have had two Titan trailers, a 2000 Classic with short dressing room, and a 2003 Renegade with 6' short wall living quarters, both trailers haven't given me any trouble, their paint is good quality, and the galvaneel material doesn't seem to rust. The price for the trailer in the ad doesn't seem out of line to me, but I haven't been shopping trailers for a while.

Titans are made right in Waterville, KS- about 30 miles north of Manhattan.  I have a 2003 Classic 2 GN with an unfinished dressing room and it's a wonderful trailer for the money.  On two occasions I had a minor thing which needed replacing and w/ one call to Waterville the part was in the mail.  First class service with folks who stand behind the product.

I have had one thing come apart just this year- on the stall divider the metal tabs which hold the plate of metal down have come undone.  Kinda surprised me because I don't haul rank horses or leave the divider unlached to bang/swing around when there are no horses in it.  Anyway, I'm not a welder but I think even a welder flunky could make the repair if I could locate one.  There is enough of a bow in the sheet that JB Weld wouldn't hold it down.

Otherwise, no concerns.

My wife and I are going to purchase an '06 Titan Renegade II 3H BP in the next month or two (as soon as my Corvette sells, had an offer yesterday).

Looks like we made a good choice, local dealer has one on order for us, will be finished and shipped from the factory once complete in 4-6 weeks. We can hardly wait, I've been borrowing friends trailers and such- getting to be a real hassle.

Next year I want to get a new Dodge 3/4, but for now my 1/2 will have to do. Fully loaded the trailer is 300lbs below my max weight, but we only have two horses at the moment, so I should be OK. Getting a 3rd horse in the future so figured bigger is better.

Cheers!

I have a 98  3 horse renegade II and it still looks pretty new.   I have been really pleased with it.  I would buy another.  It has held up pretty good.  I still get people ocassionally ask me if I have gotten a new trailer.

The price you mentioned sounds about right for what one with a finished lq is running.  Hubby finished mine off and I am asking 10k for mine.  Mine is 8 ft long wall and 4 short short wall.  No bathroom.  No walk thru door.  no heat or air.  we just use a extension cord and plug into an outlet and run a electric heater.  I use a fan in the summer if needed.
