I use Everytrail on my iPhone. Only complaint is the amount of battery it consumes. 8 hours of tracking a trail and your battery will be dead. But then I don't usually ride more than 8 hours and if I do, I bring along one of those small compact charging units that any USB will plug into.
Here is an everytrail map from my ride last Saturday. It not only tracks your route, But it will automatically place your photos along the trail in the map.

I use Endomondo every ride to track mileage and stats. I use EveryTrail also when I want to make a map of a new place, as you can make notes or insert images into the map on that one.

Have been using MapMyRun ( also same as MapMyDogWalk) as it not only plots path taken with stats, but provides a graph of elevation changes during the ride. Does EveryTrail give elevation changes ?

Everytrail will show you the trip stats in either graphic or info format.
In the info format it shows Duration, length, avg speed, vertical up and vertical down totals
In the graph mode it shows your speed at any given location along the trail, the elevation, the time into the ride to reach that point, Longitude and Latitude.
In the slide show mode it shows your photos, using either the point you inserted them or the GPS coordinate from your phone if you took the photo on your phone and had the location services active.

I have changed to Map My Ride after discovering Endomondo was shorting me over 10% of my miles. I ran several apps at the same time, and found Endomondo to report the fewest miles, the majority reported in the middle, and Map My Ride reported the most. Something about how frequently it checks location (less loss of miles on twisty turny trails).

The trail pictures were great ! Thanks for sharing. I use Trails for the iphone but I can't seem to have the pictures show were I am at on the map. But it is easy to email them to my friends to show them the route I took, as long as they have google earth.
