I have a 2005 Classis Westerner Deluxe, 3H, BP, with upgraded rumber walls and floors. Excellent condition! I want to sell, but have no idea what my asking price should be. I do not see many Classic's for sale to compare. I paid 11K new. How well do these trailers hold their value? What should my asking price be? I would appreciate any suggestions.

We just sold a Classic three horse bumper pull on consignment. I had never heard of the brand before and assumed it was a west coast brand. We are in podunk Indiana, kind of out of touch, I guess. Nonetheless, this was a very nice all alumnum trailer, about 2005, rumber floor, nicely accessorized with little details. We pulled a number out of the air and sold it for $12,000, had lots of interest in it at that price. Too bad the manufacturer is so far away. It is a nice product.

Classic is out of business now. We have a 2005 Classic Deluxe Westerner, and it is both the nicest trailer to haul, and with the light weight, all aluminum construction, and rumber, they usually sells for MORE than the ones did NEW! I paid $9800 in 2005, and have been offered $11,000 and an old straight load for it. ( NO! I would NOT sell it.) It has been from Washington to Baja California, and from Calif to New Mexico, so lots of miles, and several sets of tires, but not one issue with broken welds or anything. OOps, I did have to replace the door lock on the tack room, as someone tried to jimmy the door. We also have a 4h, Trailswest, Classic Sierra, and the construction on it is NOT as good, although it IS a steel trailer, so the rust does happen sometimes, and I have to keep up with the prevention on that.

I would search CL for your area and surrounding areas, look at dealer sites to see what comparable trailers to yours are going for and go from there as to pricing yours. If another comaparable trailer does not have the flooring, add that into your price and same goes for other 'extras'.

I have a 2005 Classic Westerner Deluxe 2h slant bp, with one of the window hinges frozen and unmoving without springing the hinge, flanges, etc. Anybody have an idea where to get replacement windows for this trailer?
I think this is a great forum site. I googled Classic Westerner Deluxe and was led right to it, read the posts, and signed right up. Thanks!

I've been following this thread after signing up today. I have an 05 Classic Westerner Delux 2h bp from CA on its 3rd winter in OH. It is rusting on the door hardware of the rear doors, and it has a frozen hinge on the second drop-down window. Any idea where I can get a replacement drop down?

Uncle Rob;Try here for the window and hinge. http://www.horsetraileraccessorystore.com/windows,_feed_doors.htm I too have a Classic, Westerner, and still live in CA. So, since I don't have the rusting, I almost wonder if you have a rusted hinge PIN. My hinges are aluminum with a steel pin on the back doors, and are welded on.
