I saw what looked to be a LOT of horse trailer scams on EBay.I don't frequent EBay at all,so,here goes what probably sounds dumb: Is there no scam or fraud monitoring on EBay at all??

Just like on this site, if a seller is trying to work outside the system, I.E. different e-mails, trailer is overseas, cash back after I send you a check. ect... the deal is a scam.
I have bought trailers off this site with no problems, and I have bought trailers off e-bay with no problems.
I have never bought a trailer for 1/3 of it's value. You won't either.

The problem with ebay is the sheer number of listings everyday. You can always email ebay with the listing number to its fraud alert. Generally, ebay will remove fraudlent listings in about a day or so.
Most people are smart enough to spot a phony listing right away. 5 grand for 40K trailer? If you're going to buy anything online- do your due diligence otherwsie your at the mercy of con artists.

Hi Ya'll I just reported the ad to E-Bay. I had been in contct with this guy and offered to pay him with my UK Lottery winnings. I played with him for a couple of days. Hope I drove him nuts.

I just e-mailed him a proposition from Nigeria for $10,000,000 that I received. Told him that he could now take his wife/girlfriend out to dinner on me. I also told him that I would like to give him a nice pair of silver bracelets. I think he will stay away from horse people now. Oh what fun.
